Dear Colleagues,

 

the deadline for the abstract submission for the International Conference CONSEC 2016 is getting closer (30 July 2015).

We invite you to submit your contributions and in the meantime we would like to inform you that three special sessions will be organized on request of some colleagues:

1)      Reinforced concrete durability: carbonation and corrosion – in memory of Eric Moreno – Proposed by Nemkumar Banthia (banthia@civil.ubc.ca) and Pedro Castro-Borges (pcb1963@gmail.com).

2)      Assessment of nuclear containment vessels in severe conditions – proposed by Alain Sellier (alain.sellier@insa-toulouse.fr) (second chairman to be defined)

3)      Concrete behavior at high temperature – in honor of 75^th birthday of Prof. Pietro Gambarova – proposed by Roberto Felicetti (roberto.felicetti@polimi.it) and Patrick Bamonte (patrick.bamonte@polimi.it)

If you are interested to join one of these sessions, please add the name of the session at the beginning of your abstract.

Accepted papers will be published as number of the Journal “Key Engineering Materials” (www.scientific.net).
